Single-herb extracts and traditional formulas: ashwagandha, turmeric, milk thistle, ginkgo, saw palmetto, rhodiola and more. Labels give milligrams per serving, the extract ratio, the plant part used, and the standardized marker compound with its percentage. Price per milligram of extract is printed under each price. Independent identity and contaminant testing on every lot.

A milligram figure on a botanical means very little by itself. Three details make it comparable. The extract ratio tells you how concentrated it is: 10:1 means ten kilos of raw plant yielded one kilo of powder, so 300 mg of a 10:1 is not the same purchase as 300 mg of ground root. The plant part matters because root, leaf, bark and berry differ in composition, and ashwagandha root is not interchangeable with ashwagandha leaf. The standardized marker is the compound an extract is calibrated against, such as withanolides at 5 percent, curcuminoids at 95 percent, silymarin at 80 percent or ginkgo flavone glycosides at 24 percent.

Branded extracts such as KSM-66 and Sensoril are listed by name, since the standardization behind them is specified and reproducible. Generic extracts state their own percentages.

Adulteration is the real risk with herbal material, not potency. An independent laboratory confirms species identity by DNA or HPTLC on every lot, alongside heavy metals, pesticides, aflatoxins and microbials, because a cheap herb is often cut with a cheaper one.

Lots failing potency or identity are withdrawn, and their certificates stay published. Several plants on this page interact with prescription medication, so check with a pharmacist before combining anything.
