Omega & Fats
Omega-3 from fish, krill, algae and cod liver, listed by EPA and DHA milligrams rather than total oil weight. A 1,000 mg softgel is often 180 mg EPA and 120 mg DHA, so the combined active figure and the price per gram of EPA plus DHA are both printed. Oxidation and heavy metal results on every batch.

Total capsule weight is the number brands advertise and the one that matters least. A 1,000 mg fish oil softgel usually carries about 300 mg of combined EPA and DHA; the other 700 mg is other fatty acids and glycerol. Concentrates reach 800 mg or more of actives in the same size capsule. The amount column here leads with EPA and DHA separately, gives the combined total, and prices by the gram of those two rather than by the gram of oil.
Chemical form sets the concentration ceiling. Ethyl ester concentrates are cheaper to make. Re-esterified triglyceride versions cost more and sit closer to the natural form. Krill delivers phospholipid-bound actives in smaller amounts. Algal oil is DHA-dominant and the only vegan route here. Each label states its form.
Omega-3 freshness is measurable and most sellers never mention it. Our certificates publish peroxide value, anisidine value and the composite TOTOX figure against the GOED limit of 26. Rancid oil fails and gets withdrawn.
An independent laboratory also screens every lot for mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, dioxins and PCBs. Under-potency or over-limit lots are pulled and the report stays public. Enteric-coated and flavored versions are labeled as such.
