Description

Sustanon 250 blend, four testosterone esters combined to 250 mg per millilitre in a 10 mL vial, 2,500 mg of total ester content. This ester combination is not approved for human use in the United States, although it is a licensed medicine in other countries, and testosterone is Schedule III here. Research use only, not for human consumption, adults 21 and over, with purchase restrictions by state.

The specification

Compound Testosterone ester blend
Total concentration 250 mg per mL
Fill volume 10 mL
Total content 2,500 mg
Licensed composition elsewhere 30 mg propionate, 60 mg phenylpropionate, 60 mg isocaproate, 100 mg decanoate per mL
Carrier and preservative Named on the vial label
US approval None for this combination
Controlled substance status Schedule III
Sold as Sustanon 250, research use only

A blend is specified by its components, not just its total. The figure that matters on a certificate for sustanon 250 is the content of each ester, because four peaks at the right ratio is the whole claim.

Look for sustanon 250 in injectable anabolic reference materials, one shelf down from the anabolics index.

United States regulatory status

This ester combination is not approved for human use in the United States, although it is a licensed medicine in other countries, and a foreign licence is not a United States approval. Testosterone and its esters are Schedule III controlled substances here, so sustanon 250 is federally controlled and unapproved at the same time. See the DEA’s drug scheduling pages and the FDA’s approval databases.

Why Sustanon 250 carries four esters

All four components sit on the same testosterone molecule at about 288.4. What differs is the acid on the 17 beta hydroxyl: propionate at three carbons, phenylpropionate at three plus an aromatic ring, isocaproate at six, decanoate at ten. Each ester has its own mass, so the parent fraction differs between them.

Chain length drives lipophilicity and the rate at which the ester bond hydrolyses, which is a chemical property and not a schedule for anything. A mixture of four esters is therefore a mixture of four hydrolysis rates in one solution, and that is the only reason such a combination exists as a formulation.

Two thousand five hundred milligrams of ester

250 mg per millilitre times 10 millilitres is 2,500 mg of combined ester. At $79 that is about $0.032 per milligram. The single-ampule pharmaceutical version of the same combination holds 250 mg and divides to $0.152, nearly five times as much per milligram.

Because the esters differ in mass, a parent-steroid figure for a blend is an average rather than a constant. Why price per milligram beats the price on the bottle covers that.

Specification and certificate

The specification is what sustanon 250 is sold against, and the certificate is the evidence for it. Purity by HPLC, expressed as percent of total peak area. Identity by mass spectrometry against the expected molecular mass. Residual solvent in parts per million. Appearance and, where the dosage form calls for it, uniformity of content across units. The contract laboratory producing those figures is independent of this company and always has been, and the lot number on the container of sustanon 250 is the index back to its report.

Our guide to reading a certificate of analysis works through one of these documents line by line, and the full set sits on the lab results page.

What this page does not contain

No dosing tables. No protocols. No comparisons of potency between compounds, and no description of what sustanon 250 does in a living organism. Those are not omissions we will fill in on request, including in order notes and in messages to our staff.

The reasoning is on the public record. The pattern the FDA has pursued in writing is pages that pair a research-use-only line with human outcomes, protocols or quantities for sustanon 250, and the disclaimer does not rescue the page it sits on. Research use only is not a legal strategy goes through the letters, and the FDA’s drug information section carries the agency’s own material.

Traceability

Lot number first, everything else second. The number printed on the container is the key to the assay report, the receipt date, the method and the archive copy, and it is the only part of the label that cannot be reconstructed from the catalogue. Content per unit, container count and storage conditions for this item are also on the label and on the listing. If the two disagree, the label is the document that travelled with the material, so the label wins and we want to hear about it.

Research use only. Not for human consumption. Purchase is restricted to adults 21 and over and to jurisdictions where this compound is lawful, the listing states where it cannot ship, and checkout enforces it. Nothing here is a drug, a dietary supplement or a food. Certificates for current and past lots, including the ones that failed, are on the lab results page.

US regulatory status. This ester combination is not approved for human use in the United States, although it is a licensed medicine in other countries.
