Description

A gram of full spectrum distillate at eighty percent cannabinoids, in a graduated syringe so it can be portioned without being warmed and poured. Eighty percent of a gram is 800 mg of cannabinoid, and the breakdown of what those 800 mg consist of comes from an outside laboratory rather than from us. The remaining fifth is terpenes, minor cannabinoids and the trace delta-9 fraction.

What the syringe holds

A weight, an assay percentage and the conversion between them, with the cannabinoid breakdown reported per lot rather than promised on the label.

  • Full spectrum distillate: 1 g at eighty percent cannabinoids, so 800 mg
  • Applicator: graduated syringe, so portions can be measured by volume
  • Breakdown: supplied by an outside laboratory, not by us
  • Remainder: terpenes, minor cannabinoids and a trace delta-9 fraction
  • Sold as: unflavoured bulk material by weight, not portioned into servings
  • Price: $44 a gram, with the price per milligram printed under it

Why the syringe matters more than it sounds

Because a thick oil in a jar has to be warmed before anything can be taken out of it, and warming it repeatedly degrades cannabinoids. A graduated syringe lets a portion be pushed out cold, with the graduations giving an approximate volume measure. Full spectrum distillate in this format is therefore easier to use in small amounts than the same material in a ten gram jar, which is the trade for paying more per milligram. The concentrate range prints purity and the milligram conversion on every listing.

Full spectrum distillate at eighty percent, and what the other twenty is

Terpenes, minor cannabinoids and the delta-9 fraction. A distillate can be refined higher by stripping more of that out, at which point it is approaching isolate and the reason for buying full spectrum has gone. Holding full spectrum distillate at around eighty percent keeps a usable minor cannabinoid and terpene load while staying inside the 0.3 percent delta-9 limit. The exact percentage varies lot to lot, which is why the certificate states it rather than the label promising it. The hemp rules behind that limit are published by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service.

What full spectrum distillate costs per milligram

Forty four dollars across 800 mg is five and a half cents a milligram, which is the dearest route to bulk cannabinoid on this site. The ten gram jar of the same material works out near one and a half. You are paying for a syringe, a smaller quantity and the convenience of not having to warm a jar, and the figure is printed under the price even though it argues for the larger format. That is the point of printing it at all.

Testing

Every lot of full spectrum distillate is assayed by an independent laboratory: the full cannabinoid profile with each minor compound on its own line and the assay percentage stated, the delta-9 figure, residual solvents in parts per million next to the action limits, heavy metals, pesticides and microbials. Solvent figures are the ones to read first on a distilled product, since distillation follows a solvent extraction and those numbers are the evidence it was removed. Lots under their stated purity are withdrawn and the failing certificate stays published.

What the published record covers

Cannabidiol has the proper literature: a prescription oral solution trialled at 10 to 20 mg per kilogram of body weight per day, and single dose human studies at 300 to 600 mg. The minor cannabinoids in the remaining fifth have far less, mostly cell culture and animal work with small human studies at doses in the tens of milligrams. Those are descriptions of published research rather than claims about this syringe, and nothing on this page suggests a quantity to take, because material sold by weight is not a serving.

Keep it sealed, cool and out of the light. The certificate for the current lot is linked here.
