Description

Pure cannabidiol dissolved in MCT, in two strengths: 1000mg and 2000mg. No delta-9, no terpenes and no taste, which is the entire specification of a CBD isolate oil and the reason people choose one. A 1,000 mg bottle in 30 mL is about 33 mg per millilitre dropper; the 2,000 mg bottle is about 67. Batch results are linked on this page.

The two cbd isolate oil options

Total milligrams divided by bottle volume gives strength per millilitre, which is the number that decides how far a bottle goes and the one most labels leave off.

  • CBD isolate oil: 1000mg and 2000mg options
  • 1000mg in 30 mL: about 33 mg per 1 mL dropper
  • 2000mg in 30 mL: about 67 mg per 1 mL dropper
  • Carrier: MCT oil. Flavour: none, because isolate has none
  • Delta-9: non detect on the certificate, with the detection limit stated
  • Price: from $59, with the price per milligram printed under each option

What isolate takes out of a cbd isolate oil

Everything except the molecule. Full spectrum extract keeps the minor cannabinoids and the terpenes and carries a trace delta-9 figure under the 0.3 percent federal limit. Broad spectrum keeps the minors and removes the delta-9. Isolate is crystallised down to a single compound at 99 percent or better, which is why a CBD isolate oil has no colour, no plant taste and nothing else on the cannabinoid panel. What each of the three actually removes is set out in this note, and the rest of the tincture range states its spectrum on every listing.

No taste is a real selling point and a real trade

Full spectrum tinctures taste strongly of hemp, which is why so many of them are flavoured. An isolate bottle needs no flavouring because there is nothing to cover, so the ingredient list is two items long and what you taste is coconut. The trade is that everything the plant carried alongside the cannabidiol has gone, including the terpene fraction that some buyers specifically want. Neither option is stronger than the other at the same milligram figure; strength is whatever the number says.

Why the 2000mg bottle is the cheaper one

Because the bottle, the dropper, the label and the certificate cost the same whatever the glass holds, so twice the active material spreads those costs twice as far. Higher potency costing less per milligram is a packaging reality rather than a sales pitch, and the figures under both CBD isolate oil options make it visible instead of implied. The argument for printing that number on everything is in why price per milligram beats the price on the bottle.

Testing every batch

Every batch of CBD isolate oil is assayed by a laboratory this company has no ownership stake in: the cannabinoid profile, the delta-9 line with its detection limit, pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents and microbials. Residual solvent figures deserve attention on anything built from isolate, because crystallisation uses solvent and those numbers are the evidence it came back out. Batches under their printed milligrams are pulled from sale and their certificates stay on the public results page.

What the published literature used

Measured oral doses in the hundreds of milligrams. The approved prescription cannabidiol oral solution, which is itself a purified cannabidiol preparation rather than a plant extract, was trialled at 10 to 20 mg per kilogram of body weight per day. Single dose human stress model studies used 300 to 600 mg. Pharmacokinetic work reports a high fat meal raising blood levels several fold compared with fasting, which is relevant to an MCT carrier as a matter of chemistry rather than as a claim. Those sentences describe published research and its doses, and the regulator’s position is published at fda.gov.

Store the bottle upright, capped and out of direct sun. Dropper graduations vary between suppliers, so check the lines on your own against the millilitre figure. The certificate for your option is linked here.
