Description
Oxandrolone 10mg per tablet, 100 tablets, 1,000 mg in the bottle. No oxandrolone product is currently approved for human use in the United States: the approval was withdrawn in 2023, and the withdrawal was recorded as being for reasons of safety or effectiveness. Schedule III. Research use only, not for human consumption, adults 21 and over, with purchase restrictions by state.

The phrase on the withdrawal record matters. A product withdrawn for reasons of safety or effectiveness is a different regulatory fact from one withdrawn because it stopped selling, and for oxandrolone 10mg the register says the former.
Catalogued in single unit oral reference materials, alongside the rest of the anabolics reference stock.
One thousand milligrams in the bottle
10 mg across 100 tablets is 1,000 mg. At $95.20 that is about $0.095 per milligram. The pharmaceutical presentation at 2.5 mg per unit holds a quarter of the total in the same count, which changes the per-milligram figure by a factor of four before any difference in price.
Price per milligram beats the price on the bottle explains why unit content dominates that number.
Oxandrolone 10mg has an oxygen in the A ring
Oxandrolone is unusual among steroids: carbon 2 of the A ring is replaced by an oxygen atom, making the ring a lactone rather than a carbocycle. Add the 17-alpha-methyl group and the molecular mass comes to about 306.4. The 2-oxa substitution is the structural signature of this compound and nothing else on the shelf shares it.
Analytically the lactone changes the ultraviolet behaviour: there is no 3-keto-4-ene chromophore of the kind most of these molecules carry, so detection methods written for other steroids will not transfer to oxandrolone 10mg without revalidation. The method on the certificate names what was used.
The 2023 withdrawal
In 2023 the FDA withdrew the brand application and four generic approvals for this compound, with the determination recorded as a withdrawal for reasons of safety or effectiveness. There is therefore no approved oxandrolone product in the United States and no lawful marketed equivalent. Oxandrolone 10mg remains a Schedule III controlled substance. The register is at the FDA’s drug approvals and databases and the schedules at the DEA.
Traceability
Lot number first, everything else second. The number printed on the container is the key to the assay report, the receipt date, the method and the archive copy, and it is the only part of the label that cannot be reconstructed from the catalogue. Content per unit, container count and storage conditions for oxandrolone 10mg are also on the label and on the listing. If the two disagree, the label is the document that travelled with oxandrolone 10mg, so the label wins and we want to hear about it.
Purity, identity and what neither of them proves
HPLC purity says what fraction of the total peak area belongs to the expected compound. Mass spectrometry says the molecule is the molecule. Neither test says anything about sterility, endotoxin, particulate matter or the suitability of oxandrolone 10mg for any purpose at all, and a certificate that implied otherwise would be a worse document, not a better one. Content and purity are also distinct: a lot of oxandrolone 10mg can be chemically clean and still assay under its stated milligrams. Both figures appear, along with residual solvent in parts per million and the lot number printed on the label.
How to read a certificate of analysis sets out which field answers which question.
The part of the description that is missing
Pages in this category usually carry a paragraph about what the compound is for. The page for this material does not, and the gap is deliberate. No quantities for a person, no schedules, no sequences of compounds, no claims about anything that happens in a living organism.
Writing that paragraph is the specific thing regulators have acted on, and the research-use-only line underneath it has not helped the sites that tried. Research use only is not a legal strategy walks through the correspondence. The FDA’s drug section is where the agency publishes its own.
Research use only, not for human consumption, adults 21 and over, with purchase restrictions by state. Where a state excludes this compound the listing says so before checkout rather than after it. Nothing on this page is offered as a drug, a supplement or a food. The certificate for the lot you receive, and the certificates for the lots we withdrew, are on the lab results page.
